Attendance

1. Your student can be marked absent through the DPS Parent Portal via Infinite Campus. Detailed instructions for how to mark your student absent through the DPS Parent Portal are available in English here and Spanish here.

2. If you are unable to use the DPS Parent Portal, you can report your child’s absence or tardy to attendance@denverlanguageschool.org or by calling the Main Office (DLS Whiteman: 303-557-0852, DLS Gilpin: 303-777-0544). Full day absences can also be reported in PikMyKid, however tardies cannot be marked in PikMyKid and must be reported to the Main Office directly.

3. If the student has a doctor's appointment please provide a doctor's note. Scan or take a clear picture and email to  attendance@denverlanguageschool.org

4. If the student is absent for illness for more than 3 days a doctor’s note will be needed to continue to excuse the absences.
   

   The school may notify parents or guardians of absences by one or more of the following methods:

   • Telephone call

   • Infinite Campus

   • Home visit or Truancy Notice after the student is habitually truant.
