Fun Clubs - After School Enrichment

Fun Club Mission

The DLS Fun Club provides high quality after-school activities to help students achieve international competence, develop knowledge and skills necessary to be productive and valued citizens in a culturally diverse global economy.

  • A service to DLS Families by providing quality enrichment after-school programs

Fun Clubs - DLS Whiteman Campus

Monday – Thursday: 2:55pm – 4:10pm

Friday Early Release: 1:35pm – 3:00pm

Fun Clubs - DLS Gilpin Campus

Monday – Thursday: 3:40pm – 5:00pm

Friday Early Release: 1:55pm – 3:30pm

Families have three opportunities to participate in Fun Clubs throughout the school year which correlate with our trimesters. Registration occurs in August, October and January and is run through a lottery system. 

Fun Club Schedule for the 24-25 School Year:

  • Fall Session: September 9 - November 15, 2024

  • Winter Session: December 9 - February 28, 2025

  • Spring Session: March 10 - May 30, 2025

Dolphin Splash / Dolphin Hall

DLS Dolphin Splash and Dolphin Hall Mission

Denver Language School provides after school care to our K-8 students: Dolphin Splash at our Whiteman Campus and Dolphin H all at our Gilpin Campus. The DLS Afterschool Care Program provides a safe and supervised environment for families needing additional time for pick-up. It offers students the opportunity to complete homework, play games, or socialize, in a supportive setting, prioritizing their safety and well-being.

  • Opportunities for students to develop interpersonal skills

  • A service to DLS Families by providing childcare after school hours

Dolphin Splash - DLS Whiteman Campus

Monday – Thursday: 2:55pm – 4:10pm

Friday Early Release: 1:35pm – 3:00pm

Dolphin Hall - DLS Gilpin Campus

Monday – Thursday: 3:40pm – 5:00pm

Friday Early Release: 1:55pm – 3:30pm

To assign your student to Dolphin Splash or Dolphin Hall, you will need to delegate them in PikMyKid by selecting a calendar date, select “After School” then either Dolphin Splash or Dolphin Hall. If your student will attend regularly, you can make either of these options as their default pick-up mode in your settings. 

The first two weeks of school, Dolphin Splash and Dolphin Hall will be drop-in only. The deadline to sign up for September’s monthly rate is the first Monday, September 3, and registration can be completed in MySchoolBucks. For all following months, the deadline to sign up is the first of the month. Families who choose the drop-in option will be invoiced at the beginning of the following month. Parents must delegate their student to Dolphin Splash/Hall in PikMyKid on the days their student attends. 

Pricing

The drop-in rate is $9.50 per child per day. The monthly rate is charged at $6.50/instructional day. For students who qualify for financial assistance, the rate is $5.00 per student per instructional day. To inquire about financial assistance, please contact Financialaid@denverlanguageshool.org. Discovery Link Information

  • Morning programming (AM) begins at 6:30 am at $9.25 per day.

  • Afterschool programming (PM) ends at 6:00 pm at $15.25 per day.

  • Early Release Days, (Fridays) at $27.25 per day.

  • Full-Day Camps (Non-School Days) begin at 7:00am to 5:30pm at $48 per day.

  • Registration Fees: $35 for one student, $50 max per family

  • Call (303) 906-5224 when you arrive at Door 8 to have someone answer the door for you.

  • Ratio: 1:15 for School Age
