If your family is in need of financial aid services through Denver Language School there are ways we can help. Financial aid assistance is available for:

Fun Clubs

Transportation

Student Fees

Field Trips

Middle School Sports

Uniforms

Lunch

In order to qualify for financial aid assistance, you must complete the Denver Public Schools free and reduced lunch application located below. Denver Language School will match whatever aid DPS provides your family (reduced or free).

Winter/Holiday Support

Denver Santa Claus Shop

Denver Santa Claus Shop (DSCS) is a nonprofit that collects and gives families the opportunity to shop for free toys each December. A non-denominational, all-volunteer-run organization, DSCS’s mission is “A Toy for Every Girl & Boy”. For 2023, the toy shop will be open December 8-12. Click here to register. 

Rocky Mountain Human Services (RMHS) Holiday Support Guide
This 6-page document lists many different resources that are available to your families including food, clothing, and gift support. Some examples include: The Christmas Tree Project, Food Banks, and Clothing Closets!

211 Colorado Holiday
211 is an incredible resource you can use to identify support in your area. This will link you specifically to searching for holiday assistance for families! Be sure to check out what is in your area including food baskets, meals, toys/gifts, adoption programs, and even Christmas trees!

Volunteers of America - Denver Metro Area
On this site, you can find different supports through different areas of getting help such as food and nutrition services, housing & emergency services, community support programs, and Veteran's services.

United Way: Children's Party
Mile High United Way’s Children’s Holiday Party is their largest community outreach event of the year. This year, they are inviting 400 families to celebrate the holidays with craft making, games, and photos with Santa.

Colorado National Guard Holiday Assistance
This program uses generous donations from fellow Guardsmen and community partners to help supply meals for Colorado National Guard Service Members and Families in need during the November and December holidays. No matter where you live or what deployment status you are in, you can register to receive meal assistance!

Summer Programs

MySparkDenver Pilot Program

This program provides families with $1000 to spend on summer activities and is available to middle school students who qualify for Free & Reduced price lunches.
